Winnipeg Parking By-Law - Section 13
One-hour limit for large vehicles and trailers
Under Winnipeg Parking By-law 86/2016, certain vehicles are limited one hour parking on City of Winnipeg streets.
As per Section 13(1) of the by-law:
None of the following vehicles may be parked on a street for more than one hour:
- large vehicle;
- a trailer;
13(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to:
(a) a vehicle shown to be in active use by a tradesperson working on premises in the immediate area;
(b) a bus parked in a space designated by a traffic control device for bus parking; or
(c) a Winnipeg Transit bus parked at a bus stop.
13(3) The one-hour limit in subsection (1) applies to a paid parking space even if the time period for which a parking fee has been paid has not yet expired.
